Fall Health Fair

IPSOM invites eligible health plan participants and dependents to the Kansas City Health Fair for wellness screenings, preventive health services, benefit partner resources, and family-friendly activities. Attendees can take advantage of screenings, flu shots, Wellness Center tours, vendor resources, door prizes, kids’ activities, food, drinks, and games during the Kansas City Annual Local Picnic.

Below is a list of contracted services.

  • Kansas City Wellness Center tours 9 am – 12 pm, provided by Premise Health
  • Flu shots
    • Ages 2 and up
    • Age 65+ vaccine available: Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent inactivated flu vaccine
  • Blood pressure screenings
  • Point-of-care finger prick cholesterol screenings (non-fasted)
    • Ages 18 and older
  • NEW: Carotid artery screenings
    • Ages 18 and older, limited appointments available
  • Hearing screenings, provided by Start Hearing
  • T-shirts (one per attendee only)
  • Participation Sweepstakes
  • Door prizes
